The Critical Infrastructure Security Consortium (CISC) is an organization of electric, gas, oil, water, and transportation asset owners and business organizations who work together to ensure the sector is protected from cyber and other business impactful risks.

The CISC engages with participants through committees, one of which is an AI Committee, the focus of which is to guide the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence in critical infrastructure by establishing robust tools that evaluate safety, security, performance, and ethical considerations. Through continuous assessment and collaboration, the committee supports informed decision-making and long-term infrastructure resilience.

This AI Committee engages in a quarterly AI Benchmarking series which, for 2026, is Securing Data for AI Enablement, the purpose of which is to foster collaboration, share actionable insights, and help participants evaluate their progress in strengthening data to unlock organizational value in preparation for AI deployment.

This November 4^th event is one such of those events and will include speakers from a local energy provider, a technology provider (likely Dragos), an organizational outside of the critical infrastructure community, and the University to talk about data and AI and how each organization engages with those elements

Our typical audiences are ~100 participants, a mix of both online and in person, most infrastructure providers (primarily utilities) but also national labs, educators and some media.
