Biography
Adam Zurofsky has a deep history of climate and energy leadership. He has served as New York State's Deputy Secretary for Energy and Financial Services, where he oversaw the state’s energy, climate, and finance portfolios; the Founding Executive Director of Rewiring America, where he helped develop key provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act; and as Director of the Northeast Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub, a regional collaboration to advance the development of clean hydrogen. In addition to his advisory work for private clients, Mr. Zurofsky currently teaches at Columbia University's SIPA school, focusing on the role of subnationals in advancing climate progress. He serves on the Board of New York State's Environmental Facilities Corporation, as well as the Board of the New York League of Conservation Voters. Mr. Zurofsky holds an A.B., with honors, in Political Science from Stanford University and a J.D., cum laude from Harvard Law School.
