Biography
Dr. Ahmed Mousa is an energy executive, innovator, entrepreneur, educator, and proud Stony Brook University alumnus with more than two decades of experience leading utility transformation, grid modernization, and emerging technology initiatives. He previously served as Utility of the Future Senior Lead at PSE&G, supporting strategic initiatives across electric, gas, and nuclear operations while leading innovation, research, and business development efforts. Dr. Mousa is the creator of the Utility of the Future Electric and Gas Benchmarking Survey, an AI Champion, startup judge and adviser, and Founder/CEO of Electric Bridge Consulting, 100% Energy Club, and Di$rupt. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, Rutgers University, and NJIT, chairs IEEE’s Planet Positive Utility of the Future Committee, serves as an IEEE Emerging Technology Adviser, and is the author of six books and numerous PE courses. His leadership and contributions have been recognized through honors, including the IEEE Outstanding Engineer Award, Con Edison ALVA Leadership Award, PSEG Innovation Recognition, and the Rutgers Mentor Award.
