Biography
Amy serves as the Director of Technology for the Aerothermal, Mechanical, and Materials organization at GE Vernova Advanced Research. With a 30-year legacy at GE, Amy currently leads the R&D strategy for breakthrough technologies across conventional power, renewables acceleration, and electrification. She serves as a vital bridge between GE Vernova’s business units, government agencies, and academic partners to accelerate the global energy transition.
Throughout her distinguished tenure, Amy has held several high-impact leadership roles, including Enterprise Development Leader for the Decarbonization Mission and a seven-year term as Business Program Manager for GE Homeland Protection. A recognized thought leader in the scientific community, Amy has authored 20 peer-reviewed publications and three US patents and received two GE Research Chief Technology Officer awards for technical leadership and customer success.
Amy holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry/Surface Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.S. in Chemistry from Seton Hill University.
