Biography
Christine Sloan is Deputy Executive Director of the National Offshore Wind Research and Development Consortium (NOWRDC), where she leads strategic initiatives that advance innovation across the U.S. offshore wind sector. She oversees a national portfolio of collaborative research, working with federal and state agencies, industry leaders, universities, and nonprofit partners to accelerate the commercialization of technologies that reduce cost, improve reliability, and strengthen domestic energy infrastructure.
With expertise spanning clean energy policy, research strategy, and nonprofit leadership, Christine has helped shape multi-state collaborations focused on grid integration, transmission, environmental monitoring, operations and maintenance, and supply chain development. She is passionate about connecting research with real-world implementation, ensuring that emerging technologies address the industry's most pressing challenges.
Christine brings a practical, systems-level perspective on how innovation, collaboration, and strategic investment can accelerate offshore wind deployment while strengthening the resilience and competitiveness of the broader U.S. energy sector.
