Biography
Digaunto Chatterjee is Senior Vice President of Engineering, responsible for Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Planning, Gas-Electric Planning, Asset Management, Engineering Operations, Real-Time T&D Control Room Systems, Telecommunications, Substations, and Vegetation Management. He leads the daily reliability of the electric transmission and distribution network and the development of long-term capital and modernization strategies. His responsibilities include managing a 5-Year Capital Plan focused on reliability improvements, asset replacement, and customer connections, while advancing 10- and 20-year Electric Sector Modernization Plans that support clean energy goals and climate resilience investments. Previously, he served as Vice President, Investment Strategy at GE Capital, leading energy market analyses that informed investments in renewable and conventional generation assets. With more than 25 years of industry experience, he held leadership roles at GE Energy Consulting and MISO, where he directed major transmission planning initiatives and market reforms. He holds degrees from Nagpur University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
