Biography
Jay Jordan is a nationally recognized public policy expert, organizer, and entrepreneur working at the intersection of economic development, workforce opportunity, and community safety. He serves as Vice President of Community Engagement for REFORM Alliance. As former CEO of the Alliance for Safety and Justice, he directed a $30M+ operation with a staff of 100. At Californians for Safety and Justice he led 50+ campaigns across eight states that impacted 9 million lives and reallocated $1.2 billion toward workforce development, education, and victim services. He founded the Center for Social and Economic Good, a social-impact holding company advancing the UN sustainability goals, and self-funded his first venture—a teen diversion program—through a business he started while incarcerated. Jordan's work centers on economically sustainable strategies that lower the cost of opportunity, help businesses thrive, and allow working families to build stable, affordable futures in their own communities.
