Biography
Jessica Waldorf serves as the Chief of Staff & Director of Policy Implementation at the New York State Department of Public Service where she is responsible for the development and implementation of regulatory policies in the areas of clean energy, utility regulation, and market innovation. She has over eighteen years of experience working on complex clean energy initiatives in New York, including energy affordability, climate finance, transmission development, energy system planning, large-scale clean energy technologies, workforce development, clean transportation, and building decarbonization and energy efficiency. Her past roles include serving as the Interim Executive Director of the Office of Renewable Energy Siting and Electric Transmission (ORES), Acting Assistant Secretary for Energy at the Office of the New York State Governor, and roles at the New York Power Authority (NYPA), and New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).
