Biography
Joe Silver is Senior Manager at NineDot Energy, focusing on BESS+EV strategy and business development. Prior to joining NineDot, Joe was a Sr. Specialist of Non-Pipeline Solutions at Con Edison where he worked on designing and launching programs targeting the elimination of leak-prone gas mains via whole building electrification. He was Director of Programs at the Urban Future Lab at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering where he supported early stage cleantech startups and helped launch the region's first hydrogen technology accelerator in partnership with Greentown Labs. Joe has also worked at the CUNY Building Performance Lab where he researched and managed innovative demonstrations of new energy technologies in municipal buildings. He's an Adjunct Faculty at NYU's School of Professional Studies and a 2021 Clean Energy Leadership Institute fellow. Joe holds a BA in Environmental Science from NYU and an MS in Urban Sustainability from CCNY.
