Biography
John Quackenbush bridges the gap between the utility regulatory and investment communities as President of JQ Resources, LLC.
John served as Michigan Public Service Commission Chairman. He was Managing Director and Senior Investment Analyst at UBS Global Asset Management covering electric, natural gas, and water utilities, natural gas and crude oil pipelines, independent power producers, coal producers, railroads, airlines, parcel carriers, trucking, and logistics equities in the US and Canada.
John also served as Manager of Capital Markets, Manager of Rate of Return, and Manager of State Regulatory Matters at Sprint, and Chief Financial Analyst at the Illinois Commerce Commission.
He earned an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Michigan State University and a BA in Business Economics from Calvin College. John achieved the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst and was named a Top Gun US Industrials Investment Mind by Brendan Wood International.
