Biography
Kate Frucher is CEO & Founder of The Clean Fight, a not-for-profit focused on accelerating the adoption of proven climate solutions. Backed by New York State and top philanthropies, The Clean Fight designs and implements targeted programs to help solutions move into communities faster, more affordably, and at scale – identifying adoption models that turn one-off projects into first-of-many. Kate spent many years as an entrepreneur herself. Highlights include launching the AmeriCorps National Service Program from the White House, driving reform at the New York City Fire Department after the attacks of 9/11, helping to build companies Axiom Law and ideeli from startup to $100m+, and co-founding Imprint, a digital tool to spark acts of kindness. She’s a graduate of Harvard College and Stanford Law School, and is a Henry Crown Fellow with the Aspen Institute
