Biography
Kevin Hansen is the Head of Government Affairs and Policy, Northeast, for Ørsted, where he oversees U.S. state and local government affairs and stakeholder relations for South Fork Wind, Revolution Wind and Sunrise Wind - three of the first six American commercial-scale offshore wind farms. Before joining Ørsted, Kevin was the SVP and Head of Public Policy for Empire State Development, a New York State government agency focused on supporting business investment and job creation. Prior to his nearly decade-long tenure with the State of New York, Kevin held a series of full-time roles with the Washington, DC, Mayor’s Office and the consulting firm Bain & Company. Kevin holds an MPA from NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service, and a BBA in Accounting and a BS in Political Science from The University of Iowa.
