Biography
Kevin Hennessy, Senior Director, Policy, at Mainspring Energy has two decades of energy and utility experience in public policy, legislative and regulatory affairs, project development, community relations, market policy, business development, media relations, corporate communications and corporate philanthropy. He currently leads the state and local affairs team at Mainspring Energy and was formerly the General Manager of Corporate Affairs for Dominion Energy. He has served on numerous non-profit boards, including Mitchell College (chair), the New England Council and the Mystic Aquarium. He has also been appointed to numerous governmental bodies and commissions, including the Connecticut Energy Advisory Board and Governor Lamont’s Transition Team’s Energy Policy Committee. He has a J.D. from Western New England College School of Law and a B.A. from College of the Holy Cross. He lives in West Hartford, CT with his wife and four children.
