Biography
Kim Harriman was appointed Avangrid Deputy CEO in June of 2025 and also currently serves as Acting CEO of Avangrid Networks. She joined Avangrid in December of 2020 and was promoted to SVP, Public and Regulatory Affairs in June of 2022. She coordinates state government relations and regulatory affairs for seven electric and gas utility subsidiaries in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maine and power generation projects across 23 states. Prior to Avangrid, Ms. Harriman worked for over 20 years on energy issues for the state of New York. She served as Senior Vice President of Public & Regulatory Affairs at the New York Power Authority. Before joining NYPA, Harriman was General Counsel at the Department of Public Service. Ms. Harriman graduated from Albany Law School of Union University and holds a BA in political science with a minor in economics from Siena College.
