Biography
Kristin Barbato is the Founder of Build Edison and Co-Founder of Dynamo Energy Hub, where she helps corporations, startups, investors, and governments accelerate energy innovation and commercialization. With more than 25 years of experience in the energy sector, she develops market growth programs, strategic partnerships, and executive networks that advance the energy transition. She also serves as NextGen Program Director at OpenMinds, developing the next generation of energy and climate leaders. Previously, Kristin was Vice President at the New York Power Authority, Managing Director at TRIO, and New York City's Chief Energy Management Officer, where she led the long-term sustainability strategy for the nation's largest municipal energy infrastructure. She holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
