Biography
Leo Sancho Frances serves as President & CEO of Elecnor USA. He began his career with Elecnor S.A. in 2008 as an intern after earning a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, later earning a second degree in Electrical Engineering and a master’s in Renewable Energy.
After relocating to New York in 2013, Leo played a pivotal role in the due diligence process for the acquisition of Hawkeye. He subsequently spearheaded the company’s evolution into Elecnor USA, expanding its geographic reach, capabilities, and market standing as a premier national infrastructure contractor.
Driven by a collaborative, people-first leadership approach, Leo focuses on building high-performing teams grounded in safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Outside of work, Leo resides in New York with his wife and two children, bringing the same values of family, teamwork, and active living to both his personal life and executive leadership.
