Biography
Michael Trunzo is Director of Government Affairs at Shenker Russo and Clark, LLP in Albany, NY, and President of Northeast Public Affairs in Lake Placid, NY. He represents clients in the energy sector, including a national trade association and companies producing biodiesel, renewable diesel, sustainable aviation fuel, and biomass-based diesel, and also advocates for the home heating fuel industry in the New York metropolitan area.
Previously, he served as President and CEO of the New England Fuel Institute and its Education Foundation. His earlier roles include Vice Chancellor for University Relations at the State University of New York, CEO of the Empire State Petroleum Association, and senior positions in New York State government, including Chief of Staff to the Lieutenant Governor and to a State Senator.
He holds an MPA and a BA in Political Science from Long Island University Post.
