Biography
Michael Devine is the President of the National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA). As a government-sanctioned “check-off” program, NORA is funded by an assessment fee on every gallon of heating oil, sold in 21 states that have each passed referendums to participate into the NORA program. Michael is responsible overseeing the operations of the organization and these funds collected are carefully reinvested into the programs of NORA, which include Consumer & Professional Education, Energy Efficiency & Safety, and Research & Development.
An early adopter and advocate of biodiesel integration, Michael has been a featured national speaker on the subjects of Liquid Distillate Fuels, Bioheat®, Biodiesel, Renewable Diesel and Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) integration into the U.S. petroleum supply chain for over three decades. In addition to serving as the President of the National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA), Michael also serves on the Board of Directors of Eurofuel and the Clean Fuels Alliance America, Governing Board.
