Biography
Paul Schwartz is a serial entrepreneur and clean energy innovator with more than 30 years of experience building and funding early-stage technology ventures. He serves on the Advisory Board of Grid Innovation Development & Deployment (GrIDD) at Stony Brook University’s Office for Research and Innovation.
Paul advised GenH, a clean energy company developing modular microhydro systems, and helped raise its seed capital. He is also co-founder of ThermoLift, Inc., where he secured angel funding, Series A and B financing, and grants from the U.S. Department of Energy and NYSERDA. His work with ThermoLift has included collaboration with Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the U.S. Department of Energy.
Previously, Paul co-founded EcoMotors, where he led the seed and Series A investment from Khosla Ventures. He also consults with startups on clean energy and technology projects.
