Biography
With over 30 years of experience in economic and workforce development, Rosalie Drago has dedicated her career to strengthening communities through collaboration among businesses, government, labor unions, and policymakers. As Vice President of External Affairs and Strategic Engagement at Haugland Group, she oversees communications, government and community relations, and workforce and supplier development initiatives supporting infrastructure growth. Previously, she served as Suffolk County’s first female Commissioner of Labor, advancing equitable employment opportunities and leading workforce initiatives for over 1.5 million residents and 15,000 businesses. Earlier in her career, she was COO and Vice President of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and worked as a Neighborhood Economic Development Consultant, promoting strategies to support local businesses and community development.
