Biography
Scott Jennings is President and Chief Operating Officer of PSEG Long Island, a role he assumed in January 2026 with a focus on maintaining affordability and electrical reliability for approximately 1.2 million customers on Long Island and in the Rockaways.
He has extensive experience with PSEG Long Island, including leading the development, diligence and negotiation of PSEG’s arrangement to operate the Long Island electric grid on behalf of LIPA.
He joined PSEG in 1998, progressing to lead PSEG’s Development team prior to becoming Vice President of Utility Finance. Most recently he was Senior Vice President of Finance, Planning and Strategy.
He has a BBA and an MBA in Accounting from Pace University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has served on committees of the Edison Electric Institute, American Gas Association and Electric Power Research Institute. He is also involved in many civic organizations.
