Biography
Suzanne Hunt is Vice President of Policy at Generate Upcycle, where she leads government relations supporting the scale up of the circular economy. Previously she served as Policy Director at Generate Capital where she has brought more than 20 years of experience in energy, agriculture, transportation, waste, and environmental policy. She held roles at Environmental Defense, the Worldwatch Institute, and the Carbon War Room, and founded Hunt Green, LLC, advising organizations including the U.S. Department of Energy, UN agencies, Air New Zealand, and the XPRIZE Foundation. Suzanne has been recognized as a Science Magazine "Pioneer" and was named to the Rochester Business Journal Power List in 2024 and 2025. She serves on several nonprofit boards and is co-owner of Hunt Country Vineyards, her family's seventh-generation certified sustainable farm in New York's Finger Lakes, where she champions sustainability and community engagement.
